A Sad Story . . .

. . . Is that we are without internet for a bit. We're in between internet providers and unsure of when our new router will be in. Currently, I'm borrowing internet from some girls that live in our building so I could finish downloading a movie on I-Tunes. :) We have friends from Caceres in town and this movie is one I have to watch with my friend Paula.

In other news . . .
  • We were in Barcelona for a few days for Jesse's work. We were close to the beach which was great except . . .
  • The one hour we actually spent there in the sun ended up causing Renae to get heat exhaustion.
  • Renae was sick and sleeping almost all day Thursday. Her skin was warm, but there was no fever. She didn't want to eat anything or drink anything. Oh and she was constipated which made things even worse.
  • I felt like a bad Mommy. Poor little girl . . .
  • We've got some friends from home working with Jesse this summer and they are here!
  • We're looking forward to a busy summer here in really hot Spain. Seriously. It's really hot here.

OHHH..I hope little Renae is feeling much better! It's hard to watch your little one when they don't feel good!

Poor LP. Heat exhaustion is awful. When it's really hot out, I don't really want anything but water and fresh, cold fruit. (And Julie, you're a good mama.)

Hope you are having fun with your friends!
Heat exhaustion from 1 hour in the sun?!?! How could you have prevented that? These things just sometimes happen :( But I know what you mean. Watching your child suffer makes you think of ANY way you could/should have prevented it.
Have a great week,
Britt :)
PS - thanks for birthday card... I WAS impressed it arrived before my birthday, Jesse! (actually impressed it arrived at all. I didn't send Trey anything.... oops)
-Britt :)

Oh little girl I'm sure your mommy and daddy will make sure you feel better real soon. I know how much you enjoy the water! And no Julie, don't think of yourself as a bad mommy. Who would of known that would happen.
